"This was the most delicious fish I've ever had. We ordered sardines and dorado. The fish was incredibly fresh, fried right before our eyes. The restaurant owners were incredibly friendly, chatted pleasantly, treated us to homemade liqueur, and were constantly smiling. I 100% recommend this place. And a huge thank you to the staff for such a wonderful experience after visiting your establishment."

"What an incredible experience. It's about a 15 minute walk from Matesinhos beach, and we saw the good reviews, so we figured why not walk the extra few minutes. I would recommend it to everyone! Prices are amazing, and the food was the best we've had so far on our trip. They even gave us some free food as a starter, and a free (very strong) shot to finish. Definitely go here if you have the chance, you won't regret it!"

"Excellent food! However if your are not familiar with Portuguese tradition be aware that they will bring olives and prawns on your table. These will not be free of charge and they will keep on refilling them on your table and you will be charged for all of it. If you don’t want it just say so and don’t touch it."

"We only had a couple of days in Porto. We had a 3 hour guided tour and our lovely driver Delphina suggested this restaurant for lunch away from the hustle of the port. It was so well worth it. The place was cosy and we felt welcomed right away. We ordered the squid and the sea bass. We got served some delicious olives, bread and a seafood dip which was absolutely divine. The seafood was so fresh and was an absolute delight. We had the green wine which went so well with our food. Highly recommend"

"Great little seafood restaurant that serves only a select few dishes. Can't help but to have high expectations when a restaurant specializes in a few things, but my expectations were definitely met. Small place with limited indoor seating, but they were able to accommodate our party of 7. There is additional seating outside, but we preferred to be inside since we went with kids. We ordered clams, squid, golden fish and the seafood rice stew. Everything was fresh and amazing, including the apps that they brought out, which were some small shrimps, chorizo, some sort of shellfish and bread. The highlight was the fish though, it was well seasoned and well cooked. The staff and owner were very friendly. They even offered a shot of some grape + honey liquor on our way out. Do note that the place is cash only, but it is understandable for such a small shop."

The sardines, swordfish and clams we ordered are fresh and cooked to perfection in terms of seasoning and spice flavoring. 2. Staff are the friendliest and the most cheerful of its kind. We enjoyed every moment eating there. 3. Our food is reasonably priced. Portion is generous. In short, 5+ star!"
